Our lawyers have handled virtually every aspect of a civil litigation action before all levels of Court in Ontario, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada. Trials, both jury and non-jury, motions seeking injunctive relief, as well as appeals and mediations and discoveries. While we are often retained by clients to take a civil litigation matter from the outset to trial, we are often retained by other lawyers to assist with their civil litigation matters, given our particular skill set and experience. For example, Ed D’Agostino has handled several civil jury trials, which require a particular skill set and experience.
Our civil litigation experience covers a broad range of matters, including corporate and shareholder disputes, personal injury, debtor/creditor work, insolvency, as well as product liability, negligence claims, estate litigation and real estate disputes.
