Lawrence has been a lawyer since 1990. He practices in the area of family law, matrimonial litigation and civil litigation.

Lawrence is a member of the Collaborative Family Law panel. In addition to his participation in the CFL panel, Lawrence has, for ten years, also been on the advisory board for the Child and Parent Place, a supervised access project so that children can be visited by their parents in a secure setting. Lawrence Greaves attended the University of Western Ontario in London where he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History and his Bachelor of Laws degree.
He has been at the firm since 1988 when he Articled, and became a partner in 1994.
